In this series adaptation of the 1977 movie with the same name, Nazım (Feyyaz Duman) meets Nehir (Biran Damla Yılmaz) through an online dating website. The fact that they've never seen each other changes with Nehir posting a photo. Because of Nehir's insistence and fear of losing her, Nazim sends a picture of Tarık, a handsome and flirtatious young man who was banished from his colourful life of Istanbul to the dam construction. Nazim liking the photo of Tarık she's sent complicates things when he makes a surprise appearance.
Nehir's decision to stay at the construction site for a while puts Nazim at an impasse. His lie must have been a nuisance. Tarik will force Nazim until he agrees to his terms. The dispute between the two ends with Nazim deciding to tell the truth. But it will become increasingly difficult for Nazim to tell the truth. He will become more and more dependent on Tarik. Tarik decides to pursue the game, but the fact Nehir is different from many women he knows will bring him to terms with feelings he never knew. Every lie thrown away will bind together more truth.
