A series of brutal murders are committed in Cappadocia. While investigating the case, Cinar, the maverick homicide commissioner, is at odds with her own past. After a while, Çınar sees that there is a connection between the murders and Avicenna's theories. During the investigation, he works with Defne, who is an expert in the history of medicine. As this case deepens, Çınar's past slowly begins to surface.
In his lair, the murderer prepares mixtures from herbs and performs rituals by looking at the codes in his hand. While Defne continues her research, she is unaware that the killer is after her. Defne finds a connection between her grandfather and the murders. A skeleton unearthed in the reeds takes Çınar to his past.
